Dales Park School is the Enhanced Provision School within the Peterhead Cluster. We have a Sensory Room and class areas to provide enhanced support to those who need it.
Here is our ‘Quiet Room’
This charter helps us to try our best.
We have fun learning a lot of life skills whilst outdoors, especially in our allotment!
Dales Park ECO group also make good use of the allotment.
At the allotment we hope to grow our own vegetables to use in our cooking sessions. Our Enhanced Provision class make yummy soups for staff in the school! This is a real treat!
We learn so much through play!
Imaginative Play is characterised as a type of play that is driven by children’s imaginations. Imagination is a vital part of learning and developments because it lets children understand and adapt to the wider world. It nurtures independence. It allows for a deeper understanding of stories and events. It improves problem solving skills. It enhances cognitive development.
Skills are developed through play. Pupils learn to share and interact with each other. Playing games with adults and each other develops turn taking skills and the ability to lose or win gracefully.
Co-regulation and Self-regulation: learned and developed in all aspects within Enhanced Provision.
